Yeah!
So, that was fun. Had a random
broadcast at the stake center that I'm sure you all saw. We only found
out it would happening a week before. Pretty awesome though. talked a
TON about member missionary work. Which, you know, means a lot to me
right now. Big moves are happening, that's for sure. Anyway, we've got
to be fast today. The sisters just got here and they need to email too.
But anyway, we got the package you sent, it was
amazing! The popits were particularly fun. We found a 문구 (odd office
supply kind of store. Essentially a store solely for students. But it
has LOTs of random fun stuff. Lot's of missionaries get trading cards
here.) that has popits, but they're not as powerful as American.
Sometimes they don't go off. These ones are the trumps now. (Korea does
have Real fireworks at the same store, cheap. But... we're missionaries.
Popits are the extent of our capabilities. And they're awesome.)
[Elder Lee's mom asked me, Elder Robarts' mom to ask Elder Robarts for ideas for Elder Lee's birthday] Anyway, as for Elder Lee... I need to do some more
digging. I've been trying to find out stuff we could do for him too, but
so far I'm still looking. --CHECK that. Possibly one of two things. We
haven't been able to find an mp3 player for him yet. And there's a
electric dictionary we've been trying to find too. iRiver? She could
check it out, I'm not sure. But online could probably find one better
that we could. Not sure what else. We've been able to get most of what
we need or want.
So, life. Keep our friends in your prayers. We've got a
family whose mom is having health problems, another who has been really
stressed at work, and one whose life is just hard in general. Thank you
so much. I'm so grateful for your prayers. They help a lot on the hard
days, I'll tell you. We're meeting a lot of new people, but it's been
hard meeting our constants lately. Some of our oldest friends have been
getting really busy or otherwise unable to meet. Amazing how many forces
you see working in missionary work when you look. from both sides. But
the Lord's work is real. And it's powerful.
I love Korea. I forgot what pictures I had for you this week, but I think they're good. I'll be right back.
[see
his Facebook page for pictures if the link doesn't work. If you are
not his Facebook friend but want to be, send a friend request, but also
include a message. He's been getting a lot of iffy-looking requests. -
Mom]
That's it. Gotta run! But I love you. Have fun!
~Elder Robarts ^^
